Art Grant Testimonials

“I’m so thankful because every bit helps buy supplies. I love doing art with my class and with distance learning, it’s really hard. Watercolor directed drawing is the perfect way that I can still have students participate fully. This grant definitely made the difference!”

Katie B. – Coyote Valley Elementary
Middletown Unified School District

“I am so grateful for the funds from the Rural Arts Initiative! I will be able to send art supplies home. I spend so much of my own money in the classroom, that it is just lovely to receive such generous assistance. I know my students are going to enjoy the materials and experiences these funds have afforded. Thanks, LCRAI!”

“The money will go towards helping my art students collaborate online during this distance learning time.  I will take some photos of their work and send it to you.  It is very wonderful that you are providing funding for the arts in our community.”

“Thank you Lake County Rural Arts Initiative ❤️ all of my third graders will have individual sets of markers and crayons for when they come back to the classroom, and a little head start on individual pencil sharpeners ? thanks again. What a nice little surprise, especially during such difficult times. Very much appreciated!”

“Special thank you going out to the Lake County Rural Arts Initiative!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! With this grant, my kindergarten students will receive their very own set of markers to take home for distance learning. And, if and when we return to area classes, they’ll get another set to have then! They’re going to be beyond stoked, when I share this information with them during tomorrow’s virtual class meeting!! We sincerely thank you all for keeping our distance learning experience so exciting and BEAUTIFUL. ?
